Job Description & Requirements:
Yellow Ribbon Community Project (YRCP), managed by Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association (SANA) is an island-wide programme that mobilising volunteers to support families impacted by incarceration. The applicant is expected to drive the formation of localised networks across Singapore based on the Collective Impact (CI) model to convene a committed group of stakeholders to review and improve the current support services.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Coordination & Alignment
- Facilitate discussions on systemic issues and landscape mapping to align understanding of challenges
- Address implementation challenges, perform sense-making function and facilitate joint efforts in solutioning and resourcing
- Ensure strategic coherence by supporting YRCP team and partners in right-siting as well as coordinating joint strategies to contribute to the Common Agenda
Research & Data Management
- Assist in overseeing data collection, tracking of output indicators, and analysis of progress and outcomes of YRCP
- Support the development and refinement of shared measurement indicators
- Document the learning process and insights gathered from localised network partners
Stakeholder & Partnership Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners through regular engagements
- Coordinate joint activities and align strategies across partners
- Lead working group discussions and conduct outreach to follow up on partner progress
Community Engagement
- Actively engage grassroot organizations, government agencies, volunteers and social service agencies
- Main Coordinator for engagement work related to forming and sustaining of the localised networks
Community Outreach
- Actively participate in the process of research, planning, implementation and evaluation for programmes to strengthen family support, mitigate intergenerational offending and improve reintegration outcomes for successful desistance
Communication & Reporting
- Facilitate effective communication between partners
- Accurately capture key decisions and outcomes from discussions, maintain appropriate filing/archiving measures
- Plan and manage stakeholder engagements and prepare summary reports on progress
Measurement & Evaluation
- Develop and refine shared measurement indicators in collaboration with partners
- Ensure awareness of key targets and oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting
Operations
- Work independently and as a team to meet the operational functions of the Community Engagement Team
- Able to work on some Saturdays when required
Technical Competencies:
- Must be Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling
- Ability to relate with profound challenges of incarceration, intergenerational offending, social services on family support as well as protective factors to successful desistance
