Workshop Technician

Responsibilities:

● Execute production / maintenance work by following manufacturing process work instructions

● Prepare, install, program, or repair programmable components.

● Perform incoming quality checks, function tests and factory acceptance tests (FAT) for robots.

● Prepare user manuals and user guides for clients.

● Perform configurations, recordkeeping, and quality check efforts.

● Perform minor repairs and replacements for robots.

● Work closely with departments and vendors to ensure committed schedules are met.

● Liaise with the Supply Chain department in receiving items, requesting, and maintaining relevant inventory.

Requirements:

● Nitec or Diploma in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or similar, some experience in the workshop will be an advantage.

● Knowledge and experience implementing and maintaining 5S / working in a 5S environment

● Strong communication skills in English (Experience in technical writing will be an advantage) Google Suite, Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu is preferred.

● Basic Hand tools and troubleshooting skills.
