Punggol Coast Hawker Centre shuts for its Q4 2026 cleaning from 21 December to 23 December 2026. NEA's hawker-centre closure file lists serial 123 at 84 Punggol Way, Singapore 829911, 40 food stalls. That is the three-day window just before Christmas Day on Friday 25 December. If your family eats here after a mall shop, move those meals to 20 December or wait until 24 December.

JTC's Punggol Digital District community page still carries the centre facts: 576 seats, 6.00am to 10.00pm, Kopitiam under FairPrice Group as operator. The hall opened 25 July 2025. Lookup.sg reprints the same NEA dates. When NEA and a directory disagree, use the CSV. This quarter they match.

The other 2026 cleans at this address already ran. Q1 was 23 to 25 March. Q2 was 22 to 24 June. Q3 was 28 to 30 September. Q4 is the last of the year. One Punggol's hawker centre is a separate building at 1 Punggol Drive, with its own clean on 7 and 8 December 2026. Do not mix the two calendars. 84 Punggol Way is the one attached to this mall.

What you lose for three days

The hall is the cheap sit-down option for Punggol Coast Mall. Singapore Fried Hokkien Mee holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand. South Buona Vista Braised Duck, Hock Hai curry chicken, and the $1 kopi O are the other names people repeat. Those stalls go dark with the rest of the 40. There is no published half-open plan. Treat 21 to 23 December as fully closed.

School holidays run Saturday 21 November to Thursday 31 December 2026, so the clean sits inside the long break, not a school week. Weekend 19 and 20 December will be heavier than usual if people eat here before the shutters. 24 December is a Thursday this year. Expect a queue if you are banking on that Thursday for a pre-Christmas meal.

Where to eat instead

Inside Punggol Coast Mall, FairPrice and the Tower food tenants stay open on their own hours. SAFRA Punggol at 9 Sentul Crescent keeps its F&B counters. One Punggol's hawker, if it has reopened after 8 December, is a 15-minute walk or one bus stop toward Punggol Drive. Coney Island has no cooked-food stalls. Punggol Point Park is closed until 31 December 2027, so that is not a picnic substitute either.

The NEA photo on the closure row is the same dining hall you already know. Cleaning here is floor, table, and exhaust work, not a renovation. Seats come back on 24 December in the usual 576-seat layout. If a stall owner posts a later return on social media, believe the stall, not this article, for that one cook. The building-level dates stay 21 to 23 December 2026 unless NEA republishes the CSV.

Walk in from Punggol Coast MRT, NE18. The hawker block is Tower 84, next to the mall rather than inside the air-conditioned concourse. From FairPrice, follow the outdoor deck. Driving uses the mall car park. There is no separate hawker car-park product.
