PlayFACTO School at Punggol Coast still has two workshop weekends left in the Robotics for Families Challenge 2026: 21 and 22 November, then Grand Finals on 13 December at the Nexus atrium of Punggol Digital District. The 24 and 25 October sessions are done. The centre is inside Tower 98 of Punggol Coast Mall at 98 Punggol Way #03-217/218, Singapore 829857. One parent and one child aged 6 to 12. The two-hour VEX GO workshop is free.
Tickikids and PlayFACTO's own Facebook both list the same remaining dates. Session blocks are 10.00am to 12.00pm or 2.00pm to 4.00pm. You pick one block. The in-house challenge sits inside that two-hour window, so this is not a drop-off class. A parent builds with the child. VEX GO is the small snap-together kit, not a full VEX competition robot. That is why the age band starts at 6.
Call +65 9773 4336 to book. The Punggol Coast location page at playfactoschool.com.sg/location/punggol-coast/ is the centre address of record. Walk in only if the phone line says a November slot is still open. November is inside the MOE year-end holiday, which starts Saturday 21 November 2026, so those two days will be the busy ones.
What the two hours actually cover
Staff run a short briefing, then the pair builds a simple drivetrain and a task, then they run that task on a tabletop mat. The in-house challenge is scored in-centre. It is the qualifier for 13 December, not a public spectator event. If you want photos, the classrooms face the corridor with glass. The lobby at #03-217/218 is the meeting point. Take the Tower 98 lift from the mall, not the Nexus outdoor steps, for the workshop itself.
JTC's Punggol Digital District community page still frames the challenge as part of the district's opening-festival education track. That is why the final is not in the classroom. It is downstairs in public space. Bring a light jacket. Nexus is open air. December afternoons here pick up a sea breeze off Punggol Point even when the mall interior is still.
Grand Finals on 13 December at Nexus
Sunday 13 December 2026, Nexus Atrium, Punggol Digital District. Nexus is the granite open plaza next to Punggol Coast MRT, NE18, at the foot of Punggol Coast Mall. It is the same floor plate used for Stride For Good in October. There is no indoor backup published. If rain is heavy, check PlayFACTO's phone line that morning before you drag a kit bag across the plaza.
Families who already did October should still treat November as a practice weekend if a slot is open. The official poster puts both remaining workshop dates and the 13 December final on one card, which is the version Tickikids is serving. Do not mix this up with older One Punggol school-holiday crafts that used the word robot in a title. Those were paper and chess programmes at 1 Punggol Drive, not VEX GO at Tower 98.
After the workshop, the rest of the mall is useful. FairPrice, the hawker centre at 84 Punggol Way, and the NE18 concourse are all inside a five-minute walk. If you drive, mall parking is the nearest lot. The centre does not publish its own car-park tickets.
