Technical Sales Manager

• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, especially with technical management, program management, etc.
• Understand technical requirements of customers and thin solutions of the company and tailor solutions accordingly
• Deliver compelling product presentations and technical demonstrations for customers to generate leads and opportunities.
• Proactively manage opportunities together with the commercial team during the technical phase of the project providing expertise on coating solutions.
• Project management of key opportunities, prepare and follow up on technical solutions, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Act as a liaison between the R&D / engineering team and clients to ensure successful implementation and conversion of opportunities to sales revenue.
• Provide post-sales support and troubleshooting assistance as needed, as well as support the new product introduction process from Sales to Production.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and client meetings to promote products and solutions
• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or related field) or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in technical sales or pre-sales engineering (2–5 years preferred)
• Strong understanding of thin film coating technologies, industry and applications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first attitude
• Willingness to travel as needed up to 50%
