Key Responsibilities:
Migration & Infrastructure Management:
- Plan, design, and execute FileNet & BAW infrastructure migration and upgrades across multiple environments (on-premise).
- Perform system assessment, capacity planning, and performance tuning before and after migration.
- Ensure seamless integration with databases, application servers, and external services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, connectivity, and configuration issues in FileNet and BAW environments.
Security & Compliance:
- Support security vulnerability assessments and apply necessary patches to mitigate risks.
- Implement system hardening techniques to strengthen the security posture of FileNet & BAW environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards (CIS benchmarks) and organizational policies.
- Work with security teams to configure and manage authentication, encryption, and access controls.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and audit mechanisms to track system security.
Automation & Optimization:
- Develop automation scripts for installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks.
- Optimize system resources to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with business, application, and infrastructure teams to define migration roadmaps.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices for FileNet & BAW system administrators.
- Document system configurations, security procedures, and migration steps.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of IT experience, with a focus on IBM FileNet &BAW infrastructure.
- Expertise in IBM FileNet P8, Content Navigator, Content Process Engine.
- Strong experience in admin activities for migration/upgrade for FileNet and BAW to new servers.
- Strong understanding of Linux, Windows, WebSphere, DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Experience in security vulnerability assessment, patching, and system hardening techniques.
- Knowledge of network security, firewalls, SSL/TLS, IAM, and LDAP integration.
- Strong scripting skills in Shell, Python, Ansible, or PowerShell for automation.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex performance and security issues.
Preferred Certifications:
- IBM Certified Administrator – FileNet P8 & BAW
