Staff Frontend Engineer (Angular)

I am currently working with a well known biotechnology research company. Office located in Woodlands - but there's shuttle bus provided from Woodlands, Admiralty, Sengkang, Punggol, CCK and Boon Lay mrt to office.

Hybrid working arrangement - 2 days WFH. Working hours 8am to 5pm. Sometimes need to take 7am calls at home (liaise with US team). Can end work at 5pm and have more time.

• Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products.
• Translating design specs into reusable components using HTML5/CSS3, and Angular
• Develop software components that meet standards of quality and architecture, including the documentation and implementation of unit tests, scripts, and test harnesses
• Work with UX team member to implement prototype using reusable Angular components and implement UI automation framework.
• Candidates with React must be willing to switch to Angular.

skills and requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Min 8 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting highly scalable applications
• Experience with front end technologies
• Knowledge of web libraries and frameworks such as Angular, React
• Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques
• Expertise in building complex interactive graphical systems
• Experience with numerous aspects of DevOps, including source control, CI/CD, Kubernetes and containerized deployment.
