Social Worker / Counsellor

Job Scope

· Carry out the Code of Social Work Practice (CSWP) related operations according to the CSWP manual & practice guide

· Facilitate casework, groupwork & community work

· Plan, implement & evaluate activities/programmes based on assessed needs for the individual, family & community

· Some practice knowledge working with clients experiencing family violence

Requirements

Technical Competencies:-

· knowledge with social policies, social work interventions & community engagement

· Strong analytical, writing, communication, interpersonal and time management skills

Core Competencies:-

· Meticulous and organised

· Preferably with interest & passion working with the elderly

· Preferably proficient in various dialects to interact with the elderly

· Must be proficient in MS office software

Preferred Achievements / Characteristics:-

· Degree or Graduate Diploma in Social Work / Counselling

· Some practice knowledge working with clients experiencing family violence

· Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams
