Contract Period: From 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026 with an option to extend the Contract for a further period of one (1) year.
Working hours:
· Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
· Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Duties to support school day to day operations:
· Prepare teaching resources and materials required for day to day Science lessons based on instructions from staff and SC HOD.
· Print worksheets or related materials for day to day teaching
· Tidy and maintain the cleanliness of the 2 Science laboratories.
· Conduct a stock take of teaching resources in the 2 Science laboratories at least twice a year.
· Maintain the general cleanliness of Aquaponics, hydroponic and vertical planters in school.
· Feed the fish in Aquaponics and school pond during working days.
· Assist students in planting in the gardens – vertical planters, Aquaponics and hydroponic during the period of specific programmes
· Any other duties as assigned by the HOD or school.
Qualification, skill & experience:
· Full GCE O Level or A Level certificate or its equivalent
· Good communication and inter-personal skills
· Good team player who is resourceful and has a high level of initiative
· Meticulous and detailed in carrying out tasks
· Proficient in MS Office
· Possess initiative and resourcefulness to handle challenging situations
· Knowledge of first-aid and gardening
· Has at least 3 years of experience working in a primary school or related field.
