Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

• Experience in pre & post contract administration.
• Prepare tender cost submission /measurement / quantity take off / cost evaluation.
• Be responsible for sourcing subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluate price comparison and costing summary.
• Responsible for claims, variation orders, budget & cost control.
• Prepare settlement of the final account.
• Handle issues including the extension of time, terms and conditions, loss and expenses claim.
• Maintenance of project documentation.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building or Diploma or Nitec (Building/QS) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a construction firm preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Have good knowledge of market updates and construction cost trends.
