Production Manager

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for managing the end to end production activities through effective use of manpower, material, machine, method and ensure a safe working environment in the plant.

Manage the overall production flows to ensure daily quality and productivity targets are met in a timely manner.

Manage a workshop of 100 employees.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Prioritizes production schedules based on available manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity and materials requirements.

Lead and engage team to bachieve production key performance metrics.

Drives continuous improvement in quality and efficiency to maximise capacity/manufacturing capability.

Understands each customer’s expectation (aspects and physical performances).

Ensures timely response to operations issues impacting customer satisfaction; acts as an interface in the establishment of and ensuring conformance to customer requirements and initiate corrective action.

Plan and manage production budget.

Manage the performance management process, including the development of team and individual goals, implementing employee development plans, and coaching.

Manages the Talent selection, performance and discipline processes.

Ensure that employees nfollow appropriate department training including Environmental, Health and Safety training, compliance to appropriate safety/ISO policies and procedures in production matters.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree in Manufacturing/Production
• Expertise in tanning, dyeing and finishing
• Minimum 5 years’ of manufacturing production experience
• Experienced in managing team
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with positive attitude
