Piping Engineer

JOB SCOPE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive the creation and refinement of piping layouts, material take-offs (MTOs), and 3D model evaluations for intricate piping systems.
• Analyse stress and vibration data, offering technical expertise and recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive project progress.
• Oversee technical specifications, support standards, and material selection to meet project requirement.
• Conduct regular progress assessments and provide strategic recommendations for project requirements.
• Offer technical guidance during contruction and installation phases to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting a culture of quality and efficiency in design.
• Any other duties as assigned by superior.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 10 Years of experience in piping design, stress evaluation, and construction engineering support, including 5 Years in a supervisory capacity.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D modelling tools (eg., Navisworks etc)
• Strong technical knowledge of piping stress/vibration analysia, material selection, and system design.
