Company Background:

• One of Singapore's established Interior Designing Firm specializing in general contracting and building construction, including major upgrading works.

Remuneration Package

• Basic up to S$ 4,500

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee all M&E works to ensure timely completion, compliance with project specifications, and alignment with the project timeline.
• Supervise the installation and commissioning of M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, etc.), ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure M&E work meets safety and quality standards.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all M&E-related matters between clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Liaise with consultants and other trades to resolve any issues or challenges during the project.
• Manage M&E-related project documentation, including progress reports, submittals, and quality checklists.
• Assist in the procurement process, evaluating tenders and selecting subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor M&E costs, ensuring the project stays within budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure safety standards are adhered to during M&E work and conduct regular safety audits.
• Provide post-project support, including defect rectification and addressing operational issues after handover.

Job Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in M&E coordination, preferably in interior fit-out/ construction.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection).
• Familiar with construction drawings, project specifications, and technical documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD or similar software is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) for Construction Sites is a plus.
