Job Summary:

The Kitchen Assistant helps with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness in a food stall setting. This role supports the cook/chef and ensures quick and hygienic service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in basic food preparation (chopping, portioning, assembling dishes).
• Cook or reheat simple menu items as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work surfaces.
• Refill ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Dispose of waste and keep the stall clean and organized.
• Assist with taking and packaging orders during busy times.

Qualifications:

• No formal education required; on-the-job training provided.
• Experience in food handling or kitchen work (preferred but not essential).
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a small space.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
