Fuchsia Lane, a luxury fashion label established since 2007, aims to grow our presence internationally. We are looking for a Fashion Designer who is competent in technical aspects of drafting, cutting and sewing with keen eye for refined aesthetics to execute creative works in a timely manner and service our prestigious clientele. You will assist and report to the Creative Director with mentorship opportunities. Candidates who exceed expectations will be given opportunities to lead a team and/or shape the Brand's creative direction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conceptualise, design, and create visual assets and collaterals for Fuchsia Lane across multiple touch points.
• Presenting trend and colours research to create regular seasonal collections for different product lines.
• Draft, cut and sew samples for every season's collection.
• Manage local and overseas production to ensure immaculate finishing and timely deliveries.
• Servicing our distinguished clients with a personalised touch by curating our collection and conveying the story behind each piece while ensuring an ideal fit for bespoke orders.
• Organise fashion shoots, exhibitions, trunk shows and events and promoting brand stories to the media.
• Work with social media team to drive audience engagement and promote sales.
• Review and analyse sales data to increase transaction value and create profitable product lines
• Style the atelier into beautiful and artistic exhibition spaces according to our creative guidelines thereby giving a refreshing shopping experience.

This is a role that requires design and technical skills in garment completion, sales and client servicing and coordination with overseas production counterparts.

Skills and Competencies

· 5 years’ experience in fashion design, client servicing or luxury brand management

. A keen eye for aesthetics, style and details

· Appreciation for Oriental culture and updated with current affairs and fashion trends.

· Self-motivated, takes ownership and highly responsive.

· Proficient with MS Office, Adobe design software and photo/video editing apps.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and team player

. Able to speak Korean a bonus to liaise with Korean speaking suppliers.

· Able to liaise with overseas production house to manage production.

· Able to serve clients and close sales, manage deadlines and show grace under stress

· Willing to go beyond the extra mile to ensure the success of fashion shoots and projects through collaborative teamwork

Fashion and/or luxury/communications background with a diploma/degree is a plus. Those without experience can be considered for a junior position if you exhibit a passion for fashion and going beyond the extra mile to deliver. Training will be provided.

Our atelier is easily accessible from Tai Seng/Bartley MRT Station with a 5-Day Work Week (Tuesday to Saturday). Salary package commensurate with experience.
