Reporting to the Director, Client Services, the Executive for Volunteer Programme Management will take on these responsibilities:
Volunteer Management:
- Lead the entire volunteer life cycle, including recruitment, screening/interviewing, matching, orientation, deployment, review/feedback, appreciation, training, and exit procedures.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, donors and stakeholders in the community, fostering a sense of belonging and commitment.
- Manage the accuracy and up-to-date volunteer database.
- Coordinate all programmes and activities related to volunteer services and engagement with beneficiaries in the community.
- Identify potential sources of volunteers and manage volunteer inquiries and feedback effectively.
Donor Management:
- Build strong relationship with corporate donors for continuity for ongoing sponsorship where possible.
- Assist with management of Home’s website, other publicity and outreach events including fundraising.
Programme/Event Management:
- Plan and execute programmes and events for beneficiaries and stakeholders in the community, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery.
- Drive engagement with beneficiaries, ensuring their active participation and enjoyment during events while overseeing smooth operations.
- Administer the Red Feather Boutique i.e. organization, inventory, co-ordination and maintain records of handicraft sale.
- Perform any additional ad-hoc duties which may be required by Director (Client Services) or Chief Executive Officer.
Job Specifications:
- A degree in a relevant field of study
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a voluntary welfare organization
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Meticulous, organized, and willing to go the extra mile
