We are seeking a motivated and organized Events and Partnerships Associate to support the planning, execution, and growth of our events and external collaborations. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for event coordination and brand partnerships, and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Event Planning and Execution
- Create, plan, and coordinate interesting and intriguing digital and physical campaigns.
- Manage detailed event timelines, calendars, and task lists to ensure all elements are on track and aligned.
- Liaise with vendors, venues, and suppliers to ensure high-quality execution and timely delivery.
- Plan for a plan B.
- Oversee registration, RSVPs, guest list management, and on-site or virtual event support.
- Assist in building a portfolio of events for future campaign proposals
- Prepare an event rundown and communicate with all stakeholders.
- Lead on-site setup, volunteer coordination, and event breakdown to ensure smooth operations.
- Post-event evaluation, statistics, and reports to all stakeholders
Partnership Development and Coordination
- Support the identification, evaluation, and onboarding of potential partners and sponsors.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of partner contacts, agreements, and deliverables.
- Assist in partner communication, campaign coordination, and fulfillment of obligations.
- Prepare partnership proposals, pitch decks, and activation plans for co-branded initiatives.
- Help develop sponsorship packages and assist in outreach efforts to secure support and funding.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Work closely with internal departments (e.g., design, sales, product, leadership) to align event and partnership strategies with business objectives.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on event-related matters.
- Assist in aligning messaging, brand representation, and goals across collaborations.
Administrative and Reporting
- Track event and partnership budgets, invoices, and expenses to ensure cost control.
- Prepare post-event and post-campaign reports, including performance metrics and feedback analysis.
- Organise and archive event materials, digital assets, presentations, and promotional items.
- Maintain up-to-date CRM records, lead lists, and engagement reports to support business development.
Market Research and Innovation
- Monitor industry trends and competitors’ events and collaborations to identify new opportunities.
- Propose innovative event formats, technologies, or engagement strategies to enhance brand presence.
- Stay updated on virtual event platforms, tools, and sustainability practices for events.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in events, partnerships, marketing, or similar roles.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Comfortable with tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, Canva, and Eventbrite.
- Able to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends and travel for events.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
