CAD Electrical Designer (Building Services)

Main Role and Responsibilities

Design and drafting of electrical engineering works for building services projects to deliver buildable design within a timely manner, and economical service to meet client’s requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design of electrical services such as sub-station, small power, lighting, security system, data cabling, public address system etc.
• Carry out site investigation survey.
• Preparing of submission plan e.g. IDA, substation etc.
• Submission of plan/document to authorities.
• Monitoring and follow up on project status.

Prerequisites

· ITE/Diploma in Engineering or related field.

· Hands-on experience in design in an engineering consultancy firm.

· Experience in authority submission especially with SCDF fire safety regulation.

· Good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and authority submission process.

· Able to work independently as well as in a team setting.

Skills Requirement

· AutoCAD

· Microsoft office

· Experience with E-Corenet electronic submission process.
