KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
- Supervises, develops and provides guidance to Finance Executives and Account Executives
Financial
- Assists the Financial Controller in business plans, budgets and analysis.
- Manages operations to hit performance metrics for the Finance team
- Cash forecast for operational and projects
Functional
- Drive monthly book closure and ensure ledger truly reflects operational performance.
- Provide technical support to shared service team in relation to IFRS and review financial reports.
- Ensures completion of internal & external audit by working with BIG4.
- Compliance to internal accounting policy, IFRS accounting, direct and indirect tax.
- Ensures adequate internal control systems for all transactions.
- Streamline process and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.
- Report on financial performance and provide information for fortnightly, monthly and yearly review meetings.
- Manage financial planning and analysis efforts, understand cost trends, identify risk and oppurtunities and provide timely and actionable informations.
- Conducts face to face and virtual meetings to support business partners and provide financial support for operational activities.
- Develop adhoc business analysis and present recommendations.
- Initiate / Assists in adhoc financial projects
- Liase with banks and financial institution for debt, treasury and reporting.
- Contribute as team member on forecast, budget and business plans.
- Review balance sheet, operational and financial metrics.
- Managing multiple systems for accounting, forecast and reporting.
Interaction
- Maintain networks and relationships with internal and external partners at the working level to keep abreast of the current industry climate and macroeconomic trends
People Focus
- Collaborates proactively with Human Resource to continuously increase competency within finance team to meet future organisations needs through training and development
- Assist the recruitment, selection, orientation of employees in finance team
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant / Certified Public Accountant with 10+ years of experience in accounting, tax and analytics
Experience:
- Organised with efficient written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, partner cross functionally and mentor team members
- Minimum of 5 years experience in managerial position
- Advanced financial modelling skills
- Curious to learn and ability to deep dive into complex subject matter
- Experience with IBM planning analytics or similar tools
- Advance MS Office skills
Working days:
Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
Saturday - 9:00am - 1:00pm
Location: Onsite
