Job Description

Summary of Job scope:

  1. HR stats reporting – recruitment, turnover, budget vs actual staff costs, leaves analysis, etc.
  2. Annual increment and bonus process
  3. Budgeting process
  4. Salary benchmarking proactively and reactively
  5. Benefits benchmarking including yearly medical insurance negotiations
  6. Reviewing of existing C&B and recommends enhancements.
  7. C&B onboarding for new joiners
  8. Running of staff surveys and focus group surveys on C&B related topics
  9. Running of staff engagement activities surrounding wellness such as medical checks by the insurer, etc.

Job Description:

  • Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation (internal pay equity, local legislations etc).
  • Assess employees needs by conducting organisational pulse surveys to find out what motivates and engages employees.
  • Use various methods and techniques and make data-based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and nonfinancial compensations.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end annual salary review and bonus process by working closely with all Business Line leaders to ensure salaries and bonuses proposed are within approved budget.
  • Lead the annual manpower budget exercise jointly with Finance to ensure timely and in full submission of the budget.
  • Analyse trends in benefits especially medical benefits and insurances for insights and market trends in developing a compelling and competitive proposal for annual insurances renewal and forward-looking benefits to attract, retain and motivate high quality employees.
  • Benefits / Leave administrator: drafts and/or recommends revisions to company leave policies to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. Manage and maintain the leave module in the HRIS system and full spectrum of benefit programs (for example, medical insurance, dental claim).
  • Prepare job descriptions, job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications for internal and external salary benchmarking purposes.
  • Participate in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits.
  • Deploy effective communication strategies and success metrics.
  • Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues, and best practices.
  • Conduct periodic audits and prepare ad-hoc data requests or reports as required (eg, employment trends such as salary expectations predictions for the new year)


Requirement:

- Minimum 3 years of Compensation and Benefits experience, especially at handling the annual budgeting and salary revision exercise.

- A detailed and meticulous person, who wants to focus on C&B in the long run.

- Short notice / who can start work by mid May preferred.

- Experience in handling the following job responsibilities, especially points 1 to 7, and must be strong in number and highly analytical
