Role Overview
As a Business Development Intern at ITLink, you will gain hands-on experience in B2B enterprise software sales while contributing meaningfully to our commercial growth. This internship is designed for university students interested in technology sales, offering a comprehensive introduction to the full sales cycle in a supportive, learning-focused environment. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, receive structured training, and have the opportunity to convert to a full-time role upon graduation.
What You'll Do
- Learn Prospecting Fundamentals: Research target companies, identify decision-makers, and practice outreach techniques through LinkedIn, email, and phone under guidance from senior team members.
- Support Sales Activities: Assist in preparing for customer meetings, create presentation materials, and participate in discovery calls and product demonstrations to understand enterprise sales dynamics.
- Develop Core Skills: Receive training in consultative selling, business communication, CRM usage, and enterprise software fundamentals through both formal sessions and hands-on practice.
- Contribute to Real Projects: Take ownership of specific prospecting campaigns, help organize customer data, and contribute to sales enablement initiatives that directly impact revenue.
- Analyze & Document: Help track sales metrics, document customer feedback, and create reports that inform our go-to-market strategy.
- Experience Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate with marketing on content creation, work with technical teams to understand product features, and participate in strategy discussions.
- Build Your Portfolio: Complete a capstone project showcasing your sales development skills, which you can use for future job applications.
- Network & Learn: Attend customer meetings, internal training sessions, and industry events to build your professional network and market knowledge.
What We're Looking For (Requirements)
- Education: Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Business, Marketing, Technology, or Communications preferred)
- Academic Performance: Strong academic record demonstrating ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
