BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING (BIM) TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

• Prepare and produce construction drawings and as-built drawing including BIM model according to project requirements
• Perform M&E system design and calculations for assigned projects
• Develop shop drawings according to the schedule.
• Responsible for document control of submissions
• Maintain the changes record and ensure up to date content in digital models and all related documentation over all phases in the project development lifecycle.
• Draw, amend and update drawing with AutoCAD according to project department or Main Contractor’s requirement
• Convert conceptual designs into accurate and precise drawings.
• Collaborate and coordinate internally and externally for design changes and model changes
• Responsible for maintaining and updating of BIM model from time to time and report to Project Manager until as build
• Ensure the model aligns with the standards the target Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria
• Define and carry out proper procedures and preparations for drafting for the different stages of issue and authority submission of the project assigned
• Perform quality control checks on drawing and model to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards before release and exchange of BIM Models
• Incorporate feedback from engineers, architects, or clients to make necessary revisions to drawings.
• Collaborate and coordinate internally and externally for design changes and model changes
• Attend meetings with Project Manager and coordinate with BIM Coordinators of other disciplines.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by management from time to time
• 6 working days

Job Requirement:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectura or equivalent
• At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required such as Electrical or Plumbing experience in HDB/ Condominium
• Proficient in use of BIM, AutoCAD and 3D REVIT drafting software
• Formally trained and obtained Training Certification in BIM, AutoCAD or equivalent modelling will be an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience with Singapore Authority submission
• Good team player with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong project management skills
• Good verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to be an independent problem solver
• Able to attend to emergency call due to project and works needs beyond office hours
