Job Responsibilities and Duties
Accounting and tax reporting
- Provide guidance and support to overseas finance team on monthly closing.
- Timely and accurate submission of monthly financial & management accounts.
- Liaise with tax consultants on accurate and on-time preparation and submission of tax returns to the relevant authorities.
- Ensure that record keeping complies with legislative requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors and professional advisors on related matters.
Financial controls
- Ensure smooth and accurate finance cash flows
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Develop and implement financial SOP to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Implement internal controls and processes which can enhance the operational and financial/accounting efficiencies.
- Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost control.
Financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
- Analyse monthly actual performance compared to budget and reasons for variances.
- Report regularly on key performance indicators.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process.
- Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA is a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Mircosoft Business Central, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
