Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate repairs and maintenance across the company’s facilities, buildings, and retail stores, working closely with Electricians, Technicians, and the Building Maintenance Manager.
  • Conduct regular inspections of CCTV systems in company buildings and retail outlets to ensure security and operational efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain security systems, including Biometric Access, Intruder Alarms, and other surveillance systems.
  • Liaise with contractors and vendors to schedule and supervise building and store repair works, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee tenant management for company-owned facilities, addressing maintenance and repair requests while ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
  • Handle administrative duties related to facility operations, including documentation, reporting, and vendor coordination.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to enhance the longevity and efficiency of facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety and building regulations, conducting periodic audits and addressing any issues proactively.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the facilities team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as assigned by management.


Requirements

  • Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in facilities management, with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance and operational issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (to liaise with Chinese-speaking associates and vendors).
  • A team-oriented mindset with the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and building compliance standards is a plus.
