Accounts Executive

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Executive (Accounts Payable) to join our Finance team. This position will primarily handle accounts payable processes, support financial reporting, and assist with general accounting functions. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple financial workflows efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and supplier reconciliations.
2. Monitor and follow up on outstanding AP balances to ensure timely payments to vendors and service providers.
3. Support employee expense claims processing and ensure compliance with company policies.
4. Assist with the month-end closing process, including preparation of AP-related schedules and reconciliations.
5. Assist in preparing the full set of accounts for reporting and statutory submission.
6. Respond to audit requests and assist with financial and tax-related audits (e.g., IRAS, GST, corporate tax).
7. Issue sales invoices for various channels (cash, online, livestream, corporate).
8. Update outlet and corporate sales records accurately in the accounting system.
9. Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., branch managers) to follow up on outstanding Accounts Receivable (AR), if required.
10. Prepare GTO (Gross Turnover) reports for landlords as needed.
11. Handle other finance-related ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or general accounting preferred.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
4. Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
5. Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
