Teo Heng Family KTV Studio opened its Punggol Coast Mall outlet on 1 August 2026. The unit is #03-226 in Tower 98, 98 Punggol Way. That is the same tower as FairPrice Finest, a short indoor walk from Punggol Coast MRT rather than a separate hop to Oasis Terraces. The brand’s own site still flags it as a newly launched outlet. Rooms start at $13 an hour during happy hours.
Founder Jackson Teo called this the chain’s 14th branch. Before Covid the company had 14 rooms-and-outlets in total, then shrank to three, then rebuilt. The Punggol Coast rooms use Wasuka speakers. Four of them have floor-to-ceiling glass looking onto Punggol Digital District instead of the usual four blank walls. If you want privacy, ask for a closed room when you call. If you want the greenery and SIT campus as a backdrop, say so up front. Passers-by on the plaza can see in.
Room types and the Punggol-only Medium Plus
Most Teo Heng outlets stop at Small, Medium and Large. This one adds Medium Plus, listed on the official outlet page as Punggol Coast Mall only, for groups of about eight.

Prices include GST. Happy hours on the Punggol Coast page run 12pm to 7pm. Peak is after 7pm every day. That 7pm cut-off is later than some older write-ups that still quote 5pm. Use the outlet page, not a July preview, when you budget a Saturday night.
Hours are Monday to Friday, Sunday and public holidays 12pm to 1am. Saturday and holiday eves run 12pm to 2am. That lines up with SIT students and office workers leaving PDD after dinner, and with families who want an early slot before the last MRT.
Food, drinks, and how you actually book
The FAQ on the official site is blunt. You can bring your own food and drinks. The Smart Local’s outlet visit added that alcohol stays out, and that canned drinks inside are $1. For a mall with McDonald’s, Jollibee, Playmade and FairPrice Finest in the same cluster, BYO is the point. You do not need a KTV menu to make a night of it.

The rooms themselves are the usual Teo Heng formula. Brown banquettes, a screen, two mics, a small table for snacks. Murals of the penguin mascot cover one wall. The glass rooms look onto the tiled plaza and planting around the district, which is the only real difference from Oasis Terraces on Punggol Drive. If you already sing at Oasis, this is the closer option after a Punggol Coast MRT ride, not a different product.
Song catalogues at budget KTVs always trail the newest K-pop drops. Crystal Koh’s review on the brand site says as much, then still calls the price acceptable. Staff can search titles on the floor. If a song is missing, that is the WhatsApp line, not a reason to skip the booking.
For a weekday, happy-hour Medium Plus at $16 is cheaper than many “student” rooms elsewhere in the north-east once you add the lack of a minimum spend on food. For a peak Saturday, Large at $25 an hour for ten people is still a split of $2.50 a head before drinks. That is why the chain survived a 20 percent sales drop, in Jackson Teo’s own words, by refusing cover charges and per-head fees.
Take the lift in Tower 98 to Level 3. Do not confuse the address with 88 Punggol Way, which is the Nexus / Jollibee side of the mall. Tower 98 is the FairPrice Finest block. If you are coming from the MRT, follow signs for Tower 98 rather than stopping at the plaza.
