Punggol Coast Community Events 18-19 July: Lion Dance, Workshops, BBQ
Punggol Coast grassroots volunteers, together with the People’s Association and Dr Janil Puthucheary, have put together a weekend community programme on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July 2026. The schedule mixes family workshops, a beach cleanup, a BBQ party and the Ngee Ann City National Lion Dance Championships 2026 at One Punggol. Events take place at One Punggol, neighbourhood RN centres and community halls across Punggol Coast.
On Saturday 18 July 2026, the Coney Island Beach Cleanup runs from 8:30am to 11:30am at Coney Island. The Raising Resilient Kids Workshop takes place from 10:00am to 11:00am at Punggol Link RN Centre, while PAssionArts Festival Art Workshop 1 runs from 10:00am to 1:00pm at One Punggol CC Level 4 Multi-Purpose Rooms. Food and Friends meets at Punggol Waterway Sunrise 1 RN Centre from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, and children can join the Community Kids Outing to Kitztopia at Marina Square from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The Waterway Brooks & Banks BBQ Party closes the day from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Blk 673 Edgefield Plains Multi-Purpose Hall. The Saturday poster also credits PUNGGOL GEARS RECYCLING NETWORK and PRIVÉ among the participating names.
Sunday 19 July 2026 lineup
Sunday 19 July 2026 begins with the One Day Johor Bahru Durian Tour from 6:30am to 10:00pm in Johor Bahru. Meet The Crocodile at Long Kuan Hung Crocodile Farm, also known as Punggol Crocodile Zoo, runs from 10:00am to 1:15pm at the farm and Punggol CC Level 4 Multi-Purpose Rooms. PassionArts Festival Art Workshop 2 takes place from 10:00am to 1:00pm at One Punggol CC Level 4 Multi-Purpose Rooms. The Punggol GRC Inter-Racial & Religious Harmony Carnival 2026 runs from 11:00am to 9:30pm at Punggol 21 CC.
Ngee Ann City National Lion Dance Championships 2026
The Ngee Ann City National Lion Dance Championships 2026, titled in Chinese as 2026第30屆義安城全國舞獅錦標賽, holds zonal rounds at four community venues. Telok Blangah Community Club hosts the first leg on 5 July 2026 from 10am to 8pm, followed by Jurong Spring Community Club on 11 July 2026 from 9:30am to 7pm. One Punggol stages the competition on 18 July 2026 from 9:30am to 10pm and on 19 July 2026 from 9:30am to 10pm. West Coast Community Centre wraps up the series on 25 July 2026 from 9:30am to 9pm and on 26 July 2026 from 1pm to 9pm.
