Works Train Supervisor

Requirements:

• Minimum local Diploma in engineering discipline.
• 5-years relevant past working experiences or equivalent local qualifications and subject to the acceptance from the Works Train Office.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office application and able to provide weekly reports to the WTM.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the proper functioning of station facilities & equipment, contractors working inside the station area.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of the station to ensure safety standards are met.
• Coordinate with WTCO & WTSS to handle any security issues or emergencies.
• Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to meet operational needs
• Oversee the locomotive operation and ensure no one in line of fire.
• Able to work independently and perform overtime work on a regular basis.
• Able to conduct safety briefings related to Works Train operation.
• Able to handle situations, incidents, and accidents and implement recovery measures.
• Able to lead and take charge of a team.
