At Metta Preschool (Punggol), we support children aged 2–6 with mild to moderate autism, developmental delays, or intellectual disabilities. Since 2010, our early intervention programs have helped young learners reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive setting.

As a Teacher Aide, you will work closely with classroom teachers to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for children aged 2–6 with mild to moderate autism or developmental delays. Your assistance will help ensure smooth classroom operations and meaningful learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare teaching resources as directed by classroom teachers.
• Assist classroom teachers in providing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and conducive learning environment.
• Assist with attendance-taking and roll call at arrival times.
• Keep the classroom neat, tidy, and organized for children’s learning during intervention hours.
• Support teachers with preparation tasks as needed (e.g., setting up schedule boards, work areas, or tasks).
• Perform classroom duties as required by classroom teachers.

Job Requirements:

• GCE N Levels or equivalent
• Experience in early childhood or special needs education is an advantage
• Patient, reliable, and enjoys working with young children
• Able to work well in a team and follow instructions diligently
