Roles and Responsibilities
Supervision and Safety
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during after-school hours.
- Oversee students during various activities, such as playtime, study time, and meals.
- Maintain a safe environment both indoors and outdoors.
Assisting with Homework
- Provide guidance and support to students with their homework and school projects.
- Help students with any academic difficulties and encourage independent learning.
- Monitor students' progress and help manage time effectively.
- Supervise primary school children (primary 1 to 6) to ensure completion of daily homework and spelling
Facilitating Activities
- Plan and organize recreational activities, games, and group exercises.
- Implement educational and creative activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, and team-building games.
- Encourage students' social skills and teamwork through group activities.
Administrative Duties
- Assist with administrative tasks such as taking attendance, filling out reports, and organizing materials for activities.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by Centre Head
Requirements
- Able to guide primary school subjects.
- Possess excellent work ethics and integrity
- Exhibit a positive attitude when faced with challenges
- Love children and the learning process
- Have experience in teaching children, preferably at the primary level
- Possess a passion for nurturing children
- Experience in working with children is preferred. Those without experience may also apply as training will be provided.
