Specialist, EV Bus Body System (Automotive Industry)

The EV Body Technician is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and assembling the body structures of electric vehicles (EVs), ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards. This role demands hands-on expertise in EV-specific bodywork, including lightweight material handling, structural repair, and integration of EV components.

Repair and Maintenance:

• Perform body repairs on EVs, including fixing dents, scratches, and structural damage.
• Replace or repair panels, doors, and other body components
• Ensure alignment and proper fitting of all body parts after repairs.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols for high-voltage systems and other EV-specific hazards.
• Ensure all repairs and assemblies comply with manufacturer specifications and industry regulations.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in using body repair tools such as welders, grinders, and paint sprayers.
