Service Technician (IoT / Engineer 1 / Electronics / Electrical)

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation and Configuration

• Install, set up, and configure IoT devices and sensors on cleaning equipment and within facilities.
• Ensure proper connectivity and stable data transmission between IoT devices and central monitoring systems.
• Perform basic electrical and mechanical installations and removals as part of setup or servicing.

2. Monitoring and Maintenance

• Monitor the performance and status of IoT devices regularly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to achieve high uptime and minimize downtime.
• Perform scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance on-site.

3. General Duties

• Handle specific jigs and tools during service jobs.
• Carry out ad-hoc shift work when required.
• Work independently and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
• Write simple service or troubleshooting reports.
• Maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate good teamwork, and stay self-motivated.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum ITE/NITEC certificate in Electrical, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• Basic English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Basic knowledge of using hand tools and servicing equipment.
• Willingness to work on-site and adapt to varying work schedules.
