Senior Quantity Surveyor

Core responsibilities:

• Manage team of Quantity Surveyors
• Implement and maintain the Company’s Integrated Management System
• Award contracts to suppliers in a timely manner
• Preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities for early or timely submissions
• Responsible for timely and completeness of taking off measurement
• Conduct contract negotiations during the course of the project in order to ensure issues are resolved
• Monitor project costs to ensure the objectives of the project are achieved in accordance to building contract law
• Responsible for cost control & planning and procurement advice
• Preparation of payment certificates
• Review the suppliers’ quotations for completeness and prepare comparison for Director’s approval
• Assist site-in-charge to prepare project budget including monitoring on regular basis
• Preparation of quotations and progress claims to clients
• Preparation of work orders to suppliers
• Preparation of tender/quotation reports
• Oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Attend site show rounds / visits / meetings
• Final project final account
• Other senior quantity surveying duties assigned
