Senior Engineer, Equipment & Hardware Engineering (JR 5184)

• Assess equipment & hardware demand requirement with technical validation.
• Participates equipment & hardware benchmark selection and budgeting, delivery & installation, acceptance buy-off, upgrading/evolution. Define performance standards, procedures, methodologies for maintenance & support the subcon maintenance team in troubleshooting & escalations. Start-up of new tools & focus on equipment performance continuous improvement.
• Equipment inventory and transfer movement management to sustain production demand requirement.
• Fixed equipment asset reconciliation and decommission & disposition management
• Technical support on equipment maintenance/troubleshooting/skill training/spare replenishment/ process improvement, failure analysis, etc. activities and resolve problem of consignment equipment and tooling (including EWS probe card & FT load board and socket, burn-in board) related issues at subcon (OSAT) production to ensure good performance of equipment and tools.
• Project management of deploys continuity improvement policy and sustaining solution at subcons. including liaison with internal stakeholders and external equipment supplier /subcons on equipment utilization/efficiency/service/quality/cost/etc.
• Work closely with ST internal product division and subcon manufacturing team on production sustaining at subcon plant (Yield analysis and improvement, in case of serious equipment failures, coordinate internal and external resource for equipment breakdown repair and recovery).
• Leading equipment related technical change and managed equipment related production/quality risk.
• Attends professional seminar and work with internal equipment key program/team in order to benchmark and share best known methods and participates corporate worldwide users meeting.
• Support manager on equipment management policy implement and continuity improvement action execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in automation or electronic qualification
• Experience in ATE/prober/handler/Burn-in test equipment and tooling of load board, change kit, socket troubleshooting, testing methodologies, programs and systems integration.
• Experience in managing supplier and sub-contractor.
• Engineering background on Final testing or burn-in testing.
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing facility, preferably Final Testing of back-end operations.
• Know-how in semiconductor manufacturing process flow, especially in final test & finishing process.
• Hands-on and analytical person who is able to articulate problems, analysis and solution.
• A team player with initiative and self-motivation, with a keen sense of responsibility and urgency
• Strong communication and presentation skills
