Science Laboratory Assistant(Punggol)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare teaching materials and resources for daily Science lessons, as per the instructions of staff and the Science HOD.
• Print worksheets and related teaching materials as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the two Science laboratories.
• Conduct biannual stock-taking of laboratory resources and teaching materials.
• Oversee the cleanliness of the school's Aquaponics, Hydroponics, and Vertical Planters.
• Feed fish in the Aquaponics system and school pond on working days.
• Assist students with planting activities during specific gardening and science programmes.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Science HOD or school management.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level or 'A' Level qualification, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a primary school or similar educational setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team player with high levels of initiative, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of first aid and gardening is an advantage.

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
• Fridays:7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
