School Science Laboratory Assistant

Location: Punggol Walk

Contract Period: 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026 (option to extend)

Deployment Hours: · Mondays to Thursday: 7:30am to 5:00pm, Fridays: 7:30am to 4.30pm (inclusive of 1hr lunch break)

No deployment required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.

The Services required are set out as follows:

1. Prepare teaching resources and materials required for day-to-day Science lessons based on instructions from staff and HOD.
2. Tidy & maintain the cleanliness of the 2 Science laboratories.
3. Conduct a stock take of teaching resources at least twice a year.
4. Feed the fish in Aquaponics and school pond during working days.
5. Assist students in planting in the gardens & vertical agriculture planters, during the period of specific programmes.
6. Maintain the general cleanliness of vertical agriculture planters in school.
7. Any other duties as assigned by the HOD or school

Requirements:

• Full GCE O Level or A Level certificate or its equivalent.
• Has at least 3 years of experience working in a primary school or related field.
• Knowledge of first-aid and gardening
• Good team player who is resourceful and has a high level of initiative.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Meticulous and detailed in carrying out tasks.
• Possess initiative and resourcefulness to handle challenging situations.
• Good communication and inter-personal skills
