Resident Engineer

Job Description:

• Coordinate the work of various contractors to ensure seamless site operations.
• Review and agree on detailed project timelines and site layout plans.
• Ensure all drawings, instructions, and necessary approvals are issued as per the work programme.
• Monitor timely ordering of materials and acquisition of necessary permits.
• Enforce strict safety standards and maintain site security at all times.
• Identify and address any faulty workmanship or substandard materials promptly.
• Verify structural alignment and ensure adherence to design intent and contract drawings.
• Check dimensions and reinforcement of slabs, beams, and columns during construction.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with valid RE accreditation from IES.
• Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate experience in supervising building projects.
• Candidates with both design and site supervision experience as RE are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Building Control Act and contract administration.
• Proficient in maintaining systematic records and fulfilling regulatory reporting.
• Experienced in bored piles, precast concrete, and structural steel supervision.
• Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills essential.
