Research Engineer (HG)

As a University of Applied Learning, SIT works closely with industry in our research pursuits. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT.

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver on an innovation research project where you will be part of the research team to develop state-of-the-art as well as practical watermarking methods to protect the intellectual property of advanced AI models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to develop novel watermarking methods for AI models.
• Maintain and update research documentation and Python programming platform.
• Contribute to the publication of research findings and present research outcomes.
• Assist with project-related student training.
• Assist with project-related administrative matters.

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in machine learning or related fields.
• Familiar with Python machine learning libraries, especially PyTorch.
• Familiar with technical paper writing with submission/publication experience.
• Interested in applied research for AI model protection and authentication.
• Self-motivated and good at communication and presentation.
