• Job Description:
• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
• Able to search for competitive costing for the tender
• Obtaining quotations, liaising, and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers
• Analyze the cost comparison between trades
• Analyze & handle Contract matters for the awarded project
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement, and sub-contractor payments
• All other QS-related jobs (assist Project Team in running projects)
• Job Requirements:
• Degree / Diploma in Building or its equivalent
• 5 years and above experience as QS
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
• Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines
