Quantity Surveyor

Reports to: Senior QS / Contracts Manager

Job Overview: Manage all costs related to building projects, from the initial pre-tender calculations to the closing of final account.

• Tender quantity taking off and calling quotation
• Prepare, negotiate and evaluate cost for subcontractor works
• Prepare subcontractor agreement and subcontractor monthly payment
• Attend site meetings and consultant VO meetings
• Prepare and submit monthly progress main claim and VO costing to consultants
• Coordinate with site for project, subcon and contractual issues
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• Recognised Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building / Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar capacity
• Meticulous in details and committed
• Able to work independently and in an team
• Entry level candidates are welcomed too
