About the Role
- Position: Quality Control Engineer
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Industry: Electronics Manufacturing / Quality Engineering
- Nearest MRT: Hougang / Buangkok, Singapore
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Salary: SGD 3,200 – SGD 4,500 monthly basic
- Benefits: Competitive salary with performance-based incentives
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Process Engineers and the Engineering team to ensure all quality control requirements are met.
- Implement Corrective Actions: Coordinate with QA, Process, and Product teams to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.
- Conduct Audits: Perform in-process and final quality control (FQC) audits to maintain product quality.
- Maintain Documentation: Develop and manage detailed inspection criteria and quality plans to ensure compliance with industry standards.
What They’re Looking For
- Education: Diploma in Manufacturing or Quality Engineering
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in the electronics manufacturing industry
Key Skills & Expertise:
- Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA): Experience with quality control for incoming, in-process, and outgoing products
- Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 13485, 45001), FDA regulations, and IPC standards for PCB assembly
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of quality norms for plastic molding, die casting, extrusion, metal stamping, and machining parts
- Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Ability to analyze quality data and identify areas for improvement
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to collaborate effectively with teams
- Certifications: Certifications in IPC standards or Six Sigma will be an added advantage
- Software Tools: Familiarity with quality systems such as SAP QM or statistical tools like Minitab is a plus
