Project Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• To manage projects by supervising and coordinating the site activities
• Coordinate daily manpower allocation, ensure work activities are conducted properly, in accordance to construction / shop drawings
• Monitoring of work progress, attending project meetings, liaising with clients and consultants
• Assist Project Manager in carrying out all shop drawings and method statements submission
• Ensures the timely preparation of project progress reports, inspection records, handover records, defects list etc
• Record all defects of works, ensure proper documentation for all variation orders and others
• Ability to complete and hand over projects within timeline and achieve quality finishing
• To make pro-active response on site problems and resolved immediately with the Project team members
• Observe proper construction safety measures and ensure safety compliance at site
• Overseeing the procurement of materials and equipment to support project operations
• Coordinate with workshop and subcontractors with the delivery of products and installation works
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Buidling Construction,Engineering or a related field.
• Min 3 years of relevant working experience in construction field is required
• Able to work independently and under tight schedule
• Good project coordination and management skill
• Able to read architectural & technical drawings thus translates to construction activities
• Able to commit to a 5.5-day work week
• Proficient in using project management software and MS Office suite
• Possess the relevant safety certifications like BCSS
