Production Technician

Job Description

• Support the execution of daily production control tasks, including production scheduling, line balancing, and manpower allocation.
• Assist in implementing quality control measures to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory standards such as GMP, Halal, GDP, and guidelines for medical devices and therapeutic products.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation and production records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper housekeeping of production equipment and facilities are consistently maintained.
• Perform production operations, including tasks typically carried out by production operators and hand packers.
• Carry out routine maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Undertake any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or food manufacturing is a plus.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical training may also be considered.
• Basic understanding of production processes, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Halal standards, GDP, and other regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Competent in using basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word) for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom or controlled environment, if required.
