People Operations Intern

• Responsible in creating employee profiles in SuccessFactors as part of onboarding
• Handle various aspect of tasks in the employee lifecycle in accordance with government and legal legislation, regulations and company policies
• Issue lifecycle letters such as Letters of Appointment, Addendums, Promotion Letters, Internal Appointments, Contract Renewal, Re-employment, Assignment Letters etc
• Support in work pass application, renewal, cancellation, and replacement
• Work with various departments to improve and automate processes for better employee experience
• Participate in User Acceptance Tests during changes in the applications and processes
• Automate and improve existing processes in the department
• Troubleshoot incidents with IT and RPA developers, and handle exception cases
• Prepare reports and dashboards
• Handle queries from People Partners and other departments
• Handle assigned duties that arise from the daily operations

Skills for Success:

• Currently pursuing Local Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Prior experience in HR operations, employee lifecycle management, or HR systems is good to have.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors and other HRIS platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Legal & Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of Singapore's employment laws, government regulations, and compliance requirements related to employee contracts, work passes, and onboarding processes.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments, respond to queries, and ensure smooth employee lifecycle processes.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to manage confidential employee data accurately and issue letters with precision.
