ABOUT US

The Helping Hand is a Christian halfway house dedicated to supporting ex-offenders in their rehabilitation and reintegration journey. We provide a structured and supportive environment to empower individuals as they rebuild their lives.


OVERVIEW

We are looking for a dynamic and mission-driven Partnerships and Outreach Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, this role will lead efforts to build and sustain strategic partnerships, engage donors and volunteers, and spearhead outreach and fundraising initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Develop and execute a strategic partnerships plan to engage corporates, churches, and community partners.
  • Cultivate and maintain long-term partnerships to support program collaboration and secure sustainable funding.
  • Lead donor and volunteer engagement efforts to deepen connection and retention.
  • Provide insights and analytics using stakeholder data to inform engagement strategies.


Outreach & Events:

  • Plan and manage fundraising events and outreach initiatives to raise awareness and drive support.
  • Organize corporate engagement events that showcase the impact of our work.
  • Align outreach efforts with key calendar milestones and craft compelling content (e.g. newsletters).
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent, impactful communication across all platforms.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, or business development.
  • Familiarity with the nonprofit or social service sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passionate about the reintegration of ex-offenders and restorative work.
  • Experience in fundraising, volunteer coordination, or event planning is a plus.
