Part time Programmer , Punggol (School)

Working Timing :

On-Site ( In School ) : 3 PM to 6 PM ( Monday to Thursday )

Off-Site - 9AM to 12 PM ( Weekdays - Monday to Fridays ) & 3 PM to 6 PM ( Tuesday , Wednesday & Friday )

Job Scope :

a) Software Maintenance and Support

Provision of software maintenance and support services to all of Edgefield Secondary School's ( EFSS) existing web application

b) Consultancy Services

Provision of professional advise and technical expertise to help EFSS improve their school and operational performance in terms of future software enhancement

c) Software Development

Provision of software development and upgrade services to all of EFSS existing application when requested

(EFSS existing main web applications are: Course Application System, Facility Booking, Google Apps for Education, Edgefield Applications, Staff e-Shop. )

Requirement :

 Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.

 Communication skills in digital, written and verbal.

 Proficiency with fundamental frontend languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

 Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue/React) is a plus.

 In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 7 PHP Framework.

 Familiarity with databases [e.g. MySQL), web servers (e.g. Apache/NGINX) and UI/UX design)]

 Experience developing mobile-responsive desktop applications.

 Preferably 3 years working experience in Singapore Schools in ICT related fields (with a focus on software development, programming and / or project management)
