Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage mechanical works on construction projects (e.g. ACMV, plumbing, fire protection systems, etc.)
• Review and interpret mechanical design drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and other trades for site progress
• Plan and supervise installation, testing & commissioning of mechanical systems
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Prepare technical documentation such as method statements, work schedules, and reports
• Assist in procurement and material take-off
• Attend site meetings and resolve site issues in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 1+ years of relevant working experience in construction (Subcon/Maincon)
• Familiar with ACMV, plumbing, or fire protection systems
• Able to read technical drawings and use AutoCAD
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
