Mathematics Teacher

We are seeking a driven and passionate Math Teacher/ Management Trainee to join our team at Matrix Math @ AMK/HG/Yishun/Punggol. This full-time role is based in the North and Northeast region and will involve delivering exceptional mathematics instruction to primary school students, as well as gaining exposure to business management responsibilities.

What you'll be doing:

-Deliver engaging mathematics lessons to primary school students

-Monitor student progress and provide individualised support to ensure academic success

-Collaborate with teaching colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies

-Contribute to the development of teaching materials and resources

-Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities

-Assist with administrative tasks and business operations as part of a management trainee programme

-Lesson plan will be given and materials are provided

-Helping students in reading and understanding of questions and concepts

-Imparting skills to help students master the art of problem solving through relevant techniques

-Setting up and maintaining a friendly classroom environment and prepare teaching/ learning resources for the children

-Working closely with Colleagues and parents to facilitate better understanding and support for our children and monitor their progress

-Sharing of knowledge and ideas to enhance programme structure

-Ensuring that the children finish their work required for the session

-Marking of students' work and feedback to parents on their child's progress after every class

Requirements:

-Singaporeans only

-MUST be able to commit long term (at least till Dec 2026)

-Diploma or relevant certificate may apply

-Able to teach up to Presch - Primary/Secondary is a plus point but not a must

-No work experience required. Willing to learn is a MUST.

-Applicants must be willing to work in AMK/YISHUN/HOUGANG/PUNGGOL

-Must be able to work as a team

-Additional related experience such as skills in training/ teaching students would be an advantage but NOT a MUST.

-Competency in Math & English is required, ability to communicate in Chinese will be a plus point (in order to handle queries and provide feedback to Chinese speaking parents on their child's progress after every class.)

-Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; and the passion to co-operate with children, Centre's personnel and parents

-Energetic and fun loving personality
