Marketing Services Manager – PROCELYS

Overview of the Business Unit

Procelys is a global Business Unit within the Lesaffre group that aims to support industrial fermentation by providing nutrients and expertise that improve the growth and productivity of microorganisms & cell cultures for all market segments.

Basic Function & Location

The Marketing Services Manager leads customer journey strategies, digital initiatives, and supports business growth across regions. S/he manages the digital roadmap, ensures go-to-market alignment, and oversees global marketing services team coordination.

Based in Lille, France (or another active region), the role involves regular collaboration with global teams across time zones.

Supervisor

The Marketing Services Manager hierarchically reports to the Marketing Director.

Tasks & Duties

Marketing Services Strategy & Global Team Leadership

• Help to define and implement the marketing services strategy in alignment with global brand and business objectives.

• Manage marketing services team.

• Leads digital, digital marketing and communications functions.

• Actively contributes to shaping the global marketing community, ensuring regional strategies are aligned with overall group priorities.

Digital Transformation Support

• Champion the digital transformation agenda in collaboration with DDT Lead for the BU, closely partnering with the global Digital & Data (D&D) team.

• Supervizes the deployment and optimization of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, data visualization tools, and AI-assisted content strategies.

• Supports the implementation of BU processes (swimlanes) and new digital tools.

Business Development & Client Engagement Support

• Plays a key role in guiding internal user experience.

• Orchestrates and coordinates leads lifecycle from awareness to conversion steps.

• Empowers sales teams with relevant tools (materials, platforms, processes).

Brand, Positioning, Content & Communications

• Leads the brand strategies, positioning, value proposition and execution of global and regional campaigns with localized impact.

• Oversees Procelys brands consistency both online and offline.

• Oversees the creation of engaging content, including scientific communication, websites, social media, videos, presentations, and internal communications.

Education, Experiences and Functional competencies

Hard skills

• Master Degree in Life Sciences Engineering with marketing/communication specialization or Business School with a strong interest in Life Sciences

• 10 – 15 years experience in B2B / B2C, significant experience in marketing, digital & communications

• Fluent English, written and verbal. French appreciated, additional language is a plus.

• Ability to speak and understand the language of microbiology and fermentation science
