Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our music center as a Manager cum Guzheng Instructor. This role involves overseeing daily operations while providing quality Guzheng instruction to students from primary to secondary school levels.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Operational Management:

• Manage day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functioning.
• Coordinate with staff and instructors on schedules, classes, and events.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming environment for students and parents.
• Assist in marketing and promoting the center.

Teaching Duties:

• Develop and deliver personalized Guzheng teaching plans.
• Create/adapt teaching materials.
• Conduct individual and group lessons.
• Provide regular feedback to parents.
• Prepare students for performances, exams, and competitions.

Additional Activities:

• Organize and participate in activities such as concerts, competitions, and open classes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music, Master's degree priority. preferably with strong training in Guzheng performance.
• Proven experience teaching Guzheng to children and teenagers.
• Proficiency in both Chinese and English, necessary for communication with Chinese students and parents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds.
• Strong management and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies for a conducive learning environment.
• Experience in stage performances to guide students in public performances and competitions.
